Proofa uses cookies and local storage to ensure the technical functionality of our prototype and to improve your user experience. As a project based in Germany, we follow a "Privacy by Design" approach.
These are essential for the website to function. They do not store any personally identifiable information.
Purpose: Session management and security.
Duration: Deleted after the browser session.
We use your browser's local storage to save your settings and project status locally on your device.
proofa_cookie_consent: Stores your choice (Accept/Decline) regarding our data policies.
proofa_theme_preference: Saves your UI settings (e.g., Light/Dark mode).
Session Data: Temporary storage of your work in the model aggregator to prevent data loss during the session.
Note: This data stays on your device and is not used for cross-site tracking.
Proofa does not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) in this prototype phase. All logs are used exclusively for technical debugging by the core team (Anna Muzykina, Denys, Saheed).
You can manage or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. However, disabling technical storage may limit your ability to use the Authorship Passport features.
Consent-Based Features: Please note that the Authorship Passport is a consent-based feature. If you choose not to accept our Privacy and Cookie policies, our system will not log, hash, or store any of your creative inputs or outputs. Consequently, no verifiable proof of authorship can be generated for that session.
